Ingredients:
16oz 93% lean ground turkey
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
⅓ cup buffalo sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
⅓ cup “Sweet Complete” Truvia Brown Sugar Subsitute
½ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
Optional to top: sesame seeds, chives or green onion
Directions:
Heat a pan with some cooking spray and add in ground turkey (you can also use ground chicken, macros will change).
While the turkey cooks, whisk together the rest of your ingredients for your sauce. If you want to add extra kick, you can add sriracha or red pepper flakes as well.
Once turkey is browned, lower heat and drain any juices. Add in your sauce and simmer until the sauce thickens and the ground turkey is coated.
Add to a bowl with broccoli and some rice, top with sesame seeds and green onion, and enjoy! 🙂 If you are making these as a meal prep, evenly portion out the turkey, broccoli, and rice into meal prep bowls. I like to use my food scale to weigh the total amount of each part of the meal first, divide by 4, and then weigh out into each bowl.
NOTE: if you do not have brown sugar substitute, you can always use regular or light brown sugar. Just be sure to adjust the macros!
