protein waffles inspired by Stranger Things

HAPPY STRANGER THINGS DAY! 

What better way to celebrate my favorite show being back for part 2 with a STACKED Eleven inspired breakfast – protein waffles! Friends don’t lie….and I am telling you these waffles are SO good, packed with protein (8g PER WAFFLE), and require minimal ingredients. Recipe makes 4 waffles. PS – SPOILER FREE ZONE, MMMK??

Macros (per waffle): 8g P / 1g F / 4g C

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (I used @IHM Birthday Cake Protein – use my code BratSnacks20 for 20% off!)

  • 2 tbsp Kodiak Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix

  • 1 tbsp Nonfat Greek Yogurt

Directions:

  1. Mix together all of your dry ingredients, and then add in your egg, water, and greek yogurt (I accidentally forgot the yogurt in my video so added it in after, oops), and whisk together really well. 

  2. Spray your heated waffle maker with cooking spray and pour in waffle mix and cook as directed. I did about 2-3 minutes for each of my waffles. 

  3. Once all of your waffles are ready, top with whatever toppings you want! This morning I did ½ of a banana, strawberries, @am Breanne’s Blend PB

Best enjoyed after defeating Vecna (fingers crossed!!)
