High-Protein Cottage Cheese Pizza Toast

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 slices sourdough bread

  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (I used Prego)

  • 1 single-serve container Good Culture cottage cheese

  • 1/4 cup fat-free shredded mozzarella

  • 10 slices turkey pepperoni

  • Italian seasoning

  • Chili flakes (optional)

  • Fresh basil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F.

  2. Spread marinara sauce evenly over both slices of sourdough.

  3. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and chili flakes.

  4. Add the cottage cheese evenly across the two slices.

  5. Top with fat-free mozzarella and turkey pepperoni.

  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread edges are crispy.

  7. Top with fresh basil and enjoy.

Britt Tip!!

If you like extra crispy bread, toast the sourdough for 1–2 minutes before adding toppings so it holds up better under the sauce and cheese.
