SERVES 4, MACROS: 13g c / 25g p / 11g f
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
12 oz broccoli, chopped into small pieces
For the sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar substitute
3 tsp minced garlic
3 tsp corn starch
3 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper, depending on taste
For serving:
Jasmine Rice
Sesame Seeds
Directions:
Prepare your rice ahead of time if you’re using a traditional method.
Brown ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat until just cooked through, crumbling it. Drain any juices and return the beef to the pan.
While the ground turkey is cooking, combine the sauce ingredients and chop your broccoli. Stir the broccoli and sauce into the skillet with the browned ground ground turkey. Cover with a lid to help soften the broccoli.
Continue to stir fry the ground turkey and veggies over medium-high heat for about five minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender and sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
Serve your ground turkey & broccoli stir fry over cooked rice, topped with optional sesame seeds.
Enjoy!!
