A Full Day of High Protein, Easy Eats (Saturday Edition)

I’m sharing everything I ate on a normal Saturday, from my pre-gym snack to a sweet treat after dinner!! This is what fueling my body looks like on normal days: easy meals, plenty of protein, and always room for the things I’m craving. If you’re looking for ideas to add to your own routine, here’s the full lineup!

Before and During My Workout

Before heading to the gym, I mixed up my Create creatine electrolytes and had a Bobo’s Bite for a little fuel. I also sipped an Alani Nu during my workout.

Breakfast: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese English Muffin

After my workout, I made a breakfast sandwich with one egg, ⅓ cup egg whites, a slice of cheddar cheese, and uncured bacon on an English muffin with fruit on the side! One of my tried and true breakfasts (my recipe if you want to meal prep these!)

What I used:

  • 1 English muffin

  • 1 egg

  • ⅓ cup egg whites

  • 1 slice cheddar cheese

  • Uncured bacon

  • Fruit on the side

Cook the egg and egg whites, cook the bacon, then layer everything on a toasted English muffin with the cheddar. Serve with whatever fruit you have.

Coffee: Pumpkin Spice Protein Latte With Salted Caramel Cold Foam

Obsessed with this coffee!! 29 grams of protein! The salted caramel cold foam on top makes it feel like a coffee-shop treat.

What I used:

  • 2 shots espresso

  • A pinch of sea salt

  • About 160 mL Fairlife milk

  • 30 mL Chobani pumpkin spice creamer

  • 1 scoop Clean Simple Eats unflavored protein

  • Ice

  • Target canned salted caramel cold foam

Brew the espresso over a pinch of sea salt. Froth the Fairlife milk, pumpkin spice creamer, and protein powder together until smooth. Add ice, pour in the espresso and protein milk mixture, then top with salted caramel cold foam.

Lunch: My Snack Plate

Y’all know the drill, snack plates or bust!! They can be high protein too! This one had Tillamook jerky bites, protein PopCorners, Good Culture cottage cheese, kiwi, tomato, blueberries, and a little Tru Fru.

Afternoon Snack

Later, I had Solely fruit jerky and a Coke Zero. Easy, quick, and exactly what sounded good.

Dinner: Hailey Bieber-Inspired Meatballs

For dinner, I made my version of Hailey Bieber’s meatballs. I mixed ricotta into the meatballs and topped with cottage cheese, freshly grated Parmesan, basil, and red pepper flakes. Can’t stop making this!

Sweet Treat: Deconstructed S’more Bites

I ended the day with deconstructed s’more bites!! So good and super easy.

Deconstructed S’mores Bites

  • 1 serving Simple Mills Sweet Thins

  • 2 tbsp marshmallow fluff

  • Mini chocolate chips

Dip the Sweet Thins into the marshmallow fluff, add a few mini chocolate chips, and you basically have a super easy little s’mores situation without having to make actual s’mores.

That’s the whole day! A friendly reminder that lasting results take time. Eating at maintenance, prioritizing protein, and finding foods I love and can repeat have helped me stay consistent, and I hope this gave you a few meal ideas to add to your routine too!
