peanut butter banana chocolate chip oat Bars
I’ve made these a few times now, and they are a huge hit every time! These can be made with both regular PB and powdered PB or even almond butter to suit your nutrition goal needs. They’re also really good with chocolate protein powder instead of the vanilla! Serves 12, macros below!
MACROS: 9.5g f / 22g c / 6g p
Ingredients:
•1 cups rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
1.5 ripe bananas (mashed)
10 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter (can also sub with PBFit to make it more macro friendly)
⅓ cup almond flour
1 large egg
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use iHeartMacros – code in highlights!)
2 packs Truvia Sugar Substitute
1/4 cup Truvia Brown Sugar Substitute
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
96g Lily’s Milk Chocolate Chips + more to top
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F and line a 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper or grease with cooking spray.
Add oats, banana, peanut butter, flour, protein powder, baking power, sugar substitute, brown sugar, salt, and egg to the bowl and mix well.
Fold in most of the chocolate chips, and mix once more.
Add the mixture to the baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula. You can add leftover chocolate chips to the top.
Bake for 25- 30 mins, checking often so it does not burn. Take out of the oven and then let cool before slicing. Watch for sneaky hands stealing them. 😉
Enjoy!
